Teriyaki Mahi Mahi

Ingredients:

1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
5 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1-2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 lbs. boneless mahi mahi fillets

Directions, Sauce:

1.
Mix all but cornstarch and 1/4 c. water in a sauce pan and begin heating.
2. Mix cornstarch and cold water in a cup and dissolve. Add to sauce in pan. heat until sauce thickens to desired thickness. Add water to thin, if you over-thick it :).

Directions, Fillets:
1. Cut fillets into (4) 8 oz pieces. Do not season. Pan fry in olive oil for 3-5 min. on each side until golden brown.
2. Place on top of white rice and pour sauce over the top.

NOTE: If you don't feel like cooking at home, come on down to my restaurant and I will cook it for you.
